JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Laborer is mainly responsible for cleaning the shovels. Additional duties include power washing the heavy equipment in preparation for the mechanics, maintaining cleanliness in the shop bays by ensuring floors and work areas are free of clutter, tools, and debris associated with repairing the equipment. This position is a day shift, Monday through Friday.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•
Meet physical demands of job according to the physical demand’s analysis
•
Operate industrial pressure washing equipment
•
Perform daily shovel cleaning tasks
•
Perform visual inspections while cleaning
•
Perform basic maintenance in wash bay area as necessary
•
Perform environmental compliance tasks and/or projects
•
Communicate with on-shift coordinator and operations personnel
•
Follow all mine safety requirements and best practices
•
Work rotating shifts as required
•
Attend all team meetings
•
Regular and predictable attendance
•
Other job assignments as requested
•
Comply with Company drug and alcohol policy
$25.00 / hour
