Job Description for a Mechanic
•
maintenance mechanic to maintain concrete batch plant to perform greasing various repair as needed
•
equipment knowledge and electrical experience helpful.
•
Maintains a clean and environmentally responsible work area.
•
Adheres to Company policies and procedures, State, Local, and federal regulatory requirements.
•
Participates in continuous training and development within one's job classification.
•
Shall submit neat, accurate paperwork and required documentation and properly use "Work Orders" and "Purchase Orders".
Job Specifications/Minimum Requirements
•
Displays a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
•
Working outdoors with exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold and other outdoor environmental conditions, constant standing and walking, climbing, working from heights and lifting up to 75lbs.
•
Must have the ability to exercise discretion and good judgment.
•
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
•
Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and OT.
•
Ability to pass pre-employment processes including criminal background check, physical and drug screen.
•
Must be able to climb conveyor belts for maintenance.
•
Possess and provide for own use, adequate mechanic tools to perform basic mechanical duties of assigned job function.
Basic Requirements
•
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
•
At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
•
Previous experience doing preventative maintenance.
