The Dragline Maintenance Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the coordination, planning, and implementation of repair day projects and support turnaround activities specifically related to dragline equipment. This position involves scoping work/projects, bidding activities, managing work execution and contractors, ensuring job safety, cost management, and coordination with other plant activities. The Dragline Maintenance Project Coordinator may review and authorize work permits and conduct audits and inspections.


What you’ll do?

Repair Day Planning and Execution Supervision: Key activities include for repair days:
Aligning expectations and planning equipment turnover to/from operations.
Optimizing resources for timely, safe execution of work.
Handling purchase orders (POs) for all repair day work.
Acting as the Statement of Work (SOW) owner.
Following up on work orders.
Coordinating and scheduling all mobile equipment support, prioritizing economic use and timing work to share equipment, and coordinating with the site for site-owned equipment.
Aligning the priority of repairs based on reliability and production needs, and running repair day preparation and alignment meetings.
Being available to support the site with knowledge, such as part location/status, contacts, and subject matter expertise.
Maintaining a customer/partner relationship as needed.
Provide support in implementing capital projects related to dragline equipment, which may include preparing Capital Requests (CR’s), working with Purchasing to select contractors, managing contracts, managing capital project funds, and coordinating field activities supporting work execution.
Provide assistance with managing significant reactive work, generally defined downtime lasting more than 36-48 hours, involving dragline equipment.
This support may include identifying and requisitioning materials or services, or direct and indirect supervision of contractors.
Assist with turnarounds, specifically focusing on dragline equipment.
Support the turnaround team in identification of the Turnaround (TA) Scope, coordination of activities, budgets, and track progress during execution.
Manage contractors performing supplemental and specialty maintenance work on dragline equipment.
Bid work as required by Purchasing, requisition services, manage repair day contracts, repair day expense funds, and coordinate field activities supporting work execution.
Track maintenance budget for dragline-related projects.
Analyze feedback from contractors and other sources to identify and implement productivity improvement opportunities.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

High School / GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, major in Engineering.
1+ years of CMMS (Maximo or SAP) experience required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and presentation skills are required.
Proficiency with MS Office is required.
