The Maintenance Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our trucking fleet. This individual will oversee the maintenance shop and a team of skilled technicians, ensuring all trucks are well-maintained and adhere to safety standards.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Fleet Maintenance:
•
Oversee the repair and maintenance of trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
•
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Shop Management:
•
Manage and lead a team of technicians and support staff.
•
Coordinate work schedules and assignments to optimize efficiency.
•
Maintain an organized and well-equipped maintenance facility.
Quality Control:
•
Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of maintenance work.
•
Address any issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
Budget Management:
•
Manage the maintenance department budget.
•
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality.
Continuous Improvement:
•
Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
•
Implement innovative solutions to enhance fleet performance and reduce maintenance costs.
