POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician Level 3 is responsible for the daily maintenance and general repairs of various CNC Machines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Maintenance Technician Level 3 is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:
•Basic building maintenance - AC filters, light bulbs etc.
•Qualified to operate a WellBoss forklift (certified).
•Basic troubleshooting of non-CNC mechanical equipment.
•Perform and log mixer ratio checks.
•Basic mechanical knowledge including hand and power tools.
•Cleaning of sensitive equipment.
•Assist with larger repairs i.e., remove machine guarding and covers.
•Basic pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge.
•PMs on industrial equipment.
•Repairs on industrial equipment.
•Use appropriate strategies and solutions for dealing with conflicts and differences to maintain a smooth workflow.
•Use equipment and tools safely as designed/documented.
•Intermediate troubleshooting of CNC and industrial equipment.
•Read electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
•PMs on CNC and industrial equipment.
•Knowledge on CNC controls. i.e., manually jogging machine.
•Minor to medium machine repairs. i.e., pump and electrical components.
•Machine adjustments. i.e., gibb and backlash adjustment.
•Use measuring devices. i.e., calipers and indicators.
•Perform other functions and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The Maintenance Technician Level 3 must at a minimum possess the following:
•A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
•Two plus years of experience in mechanical or electrical repair work.
•Ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
•Basic computer literacy skills.
•Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
•Ability to liaise professionally with team members and system users.
•Ability to perform assigned tasks with moderate supervision.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Maintenance Technician Level 3 must be able to:
•Lift a minimum of 50lbs., repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance.
•Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment.
•Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment when required (i.e., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe footwear, etc).
•Stand for long periods of time; up to 8-12 hours a day.
