We are seeking a talented candidate to lead early-stage design optimization of our wind and solar sites. This person will be responsible for engaging our Origination and other pre-construction renewables SME groups to optimize designs of new and repowered solar and wind projects, including those paired with storage energy projects prior to and during construction. This support will be primarily focused on our utility scale businesses.
This candidate will be key in translating and presenting modeling and forecasting results to customers, internal stakeholders and upper management through RFP support and investment approval meetings, among others. This person will play a pivotal role in recommending key actions that directly tie to customer and shareholder value. In this role, you achieve successful results by effectively applying creativity and analytical solutions, understanding and articulating results to other business units through technical excellence, strong leadership, and superior communication with company stakeholders. The person in this position is responsible for identifying, maturing and realizing approvals for optimizations with customers where project returns are improved over the base design. Employees in this role will spend most of their time with our renewables Origination team and other renewables development SMEs, customer interaction, Energy Resource Assessment team leadership and analysts.
Employees in this role oversee a team of wind analysts and wind farm designers and will be responsible for the fulfillment of all workflow items pertaining to pre-construction greenfield wind development and mergers and acquisitions as well as other long-lived, process improvement projects. This position commonly provides reports and presentations to upper management through investment approval meetings and RFP (Request for Proposal) support, among others. Individuals will achieve successful results by effectively applying analytical solutions and understanding and articulating results to other business units.
