Managing Counsel

PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Managing Counsel to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located at our refinery offices in Chalmette, Louisiana.

The Managing Counsel will support Chalmette Refining, LLC (CRC), among other responsibilities. Under general direction, resolves highly complex business or technical issues by identifying legal solutions and recommending a course of action. Represents the organization to customers, suppliers, competitors, and government agencies. Experienced in a broad range of legal areas such as health, safety and environmental matters, procurement and litigation as well as advising on labor and employment matters. May be a specialist of superior skill in a specific area of the law or a highly qualified senior generalist.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years of progressively responsible legal experience in a practice area directly relevant to the role, preferably including experience with a national law firm and an established corporate law department. Candidates should have an inquisitive nature with a specific interest in energy and regulatory law, and should demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
