Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Lead will have experience in all aspect of job tasks in the facility to ensure employee safety, high quality standards, and lean productivity expectations.
Job Description Role and Responsibilities
•Coordinating a team of manufacturing personnel in a high-volume production environment.
•Ensuring the team adheres to production schedules and deadlines.
•Monitoring production standards and quality control measures.
•Training team members and ensuring that all team members are competent in their roles.
•Implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and safety.
•Oversee and coordinate the sorting of work orders and material
•Maintaining accurate records of production data, including volume produced, materials used, and any deviations from standard processes.
•Provide production updates to supervisor
•Verification of identification, traceability, measuring and inspection of material
•Ensure effective communication within all departments and personnel within the realization process
•Efficient in Microsoft applications
•Utilizes Respiratory protection as needed
•Responsible for driving forklifts to move and handle material
•Able to work with hearing protection in loud conditions while using hand and power tools. (hammers, pneumatic tools, compressors, etc.)
•Able to work in confined spaces and follow applicable safety guidance
•Properly use and maintain all company tools and equipment in good working condition
•Be responsible for personal and plant safety at all times
•Perform other duties assigned
Essential functions required to perform duties are as follows:
•Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time
•Speak and comprehend English is strongly preferred
•Valid Driver’s license preferred
•Able to follow directions
•Team Player and work well with others
•Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
•High School Diploma or G.E.D
•2 years Manufacturing experience
•Lean six sigma (preferred)
