Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is a 30 hr/week (benefits eligible), hourly position responsible for supporting the overall functions of the Marketing Department. The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for multiple different areas pertaining to marketing and be the main liaison for our external marketing partners.

Core Responsibilities:

· Website Management

○ Manage and update TSS website with new content, photos, and relevant information

○ Manage SEO

● Social Media

○ Capture engaging content that helps tells the True South story through engaging social media posts, emails, blogs, brochures, flyers, and other collateral

○ Manage True South Solar's presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms

○ Develop content calendars and oversee email marketing campaigns, including drafting copy, designing graphics, and tracking performance

● Other Owned Media

○ Publish a monthly Newsletter

○ Post Blogs on the website with relevant content

○ Create and coordinate company signage including: banners, vehicle branding, yard signs

○ Schedule, coordinate and plan company events such as the Jackson County Home Show, Earth Day, Summer Solstice, etc.

● Earned Media

○ Press release coverage

○ Partnership and sponsorships

Qualifications:

● 3-4 years general marketing experience

● 2-3 years of digital marketing, content creation, and social media management experience

● Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of different responsibilities at once

● Exceptional copywriting and verbal/written communication abilities

● Demonstrated ability to capture, edit, and share engaging photos/videos

● Proficient with marketing tools like Loomly, Wordpress, Mail Chimp, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Analytics

● Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and other demand-generation strategies

● Strong project management and organizational skills

● Team focused approach towards projects

● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
