What We Are Looking For
GVEC is looking to hire you for the position of Marketing Manager to deliver the unexpected with a willingness to continuously develop yourself, your department, and our organization. As a Marketing Manager, you will help generate effective strategies and qualified leads to fulfill the customer growth and retention goals for all GVEC services and special programs.
Your Pay
The pay range for this role is between $102,000 - $137,000 per year and will be commensurate based on your skills, qualifications and experience. In addition, GVEC ties cash bonuses to a multitude of organizational benchmarks set forth annually.
How You’ll Help
•Create Customer Acquisition and Go-To-Market Plans defining geographic and demographic targets as well as related lead generation tactics, timelines and metrics to meet business plan and sales objectives
•Collaborate with the Marketing team to generate campaigns and monthly marketing plans on time and within budget
•Track and communicate results of campaigns/marketing plan activities
•Analyze marketing results and recommend adjustments for success
•Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape for presentation and strategy adjustments
•Research new providers and channels for targeted marketing opportunities
•Provide leadership, support and development for Marketing staff
•Project management as needed for general marketing projects, new process development and or implementing new resources and programs for GVEC and its members/customers
•Other duties as assigned
Experience/Skills You’ll Need

•Knowledge of diverse marketing channels, segmentation and the sales funnel
•Advanced knowledge of working with Excel and other analytics data
•Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and confidently
•Flexibility to work after hours, on-call and/or in emergency situations as necessary
Preferred Experience/Skills
•Knowledge of GVEC Electric, Beyond the Meter and Internet services and operations a plus
•Previous experience in product marketing
•Previous leadership and management experience
•Understanding of marketing analysis and reporting tools
•Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or other related field (or equivalent experience)
