About this position:

A Marketing Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote NorthWestern Energy's products, services, and brand. This role works closely with the Director of Brand, Advertising & Customer Communications, to develop and evolve marketing strategies that enhance customer service, satisfaction, and overall experience.

About this job:

Customer Insights & Strategy: Coordinate customer satisfaction studies to collect and analyze audience data, providing insights that inform communication priorities, refine brand strategy, and identify emerging trends. Translate findings into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
Campaign Development & Execution: Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including social media, email, text, web, print, and events, to engage customers effectively.
Content Creation & Creative Development: Develop compelling campaign materials, including copywriting and multimedia content, to support brand messaging and customer outreach. Create engaging creative assets that enhance campaign effectiveness.
Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and measure marketing campaign performance using analytics tools. Prepare and present reports with key insights and strategic recommendations to directors and other stakeholders.
Collaboration & Vendor Management: Work closely with external agencies, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the quality and timely delivery of marketing materials and services.
Marketing Innovation & Trends: Stay informed on the latest marketing trends, best practices, and industry standards to enhance marketing effectiveness and innovation. Leverage A.I. tools to efficiently generate storyboards for campaign concepts.
Content Production & Coordination: Oversee production shoots, including talent solicitation, securing locations, and coordinating vendors or contractors to bring marketing concepts to life.
Channel Optimization & Customer Engagement: Partner with the channel strategy team to align and optimize marketing strategies across all platforms, ensuring a cohesive customer experience. Utilize Preference Center technology to increase 1:1 channel adoption and personalized communication.
Corporate Environment & Travel: Work in a corporate office setting with occasional travel (up to 20%) as needed to support marketing initiatives.
Compliance Management: Ensure marketing activities adhere to legal standards and industry regulations

Am I right for this job? Here's the success profile:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, business, or related field
At least two years of experience in marketing, preferably in a similar role
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and other marketing software and tools
Knowledgeable in regulatory rules and laws for marketing and ability to implement best practices and adhere to guidelines in crucial.
Photography and/or videography experience preferred
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong writing and editing skills required
Creative, analytical, and problem-solving mindset
Ability to analyze campaign performance and apply insights for improvement.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong project management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and establish clear priorities
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
