About This Job

Alexandria, MN - A Shift - Monday-Wednesday , 6:30am-6:30pm & Thursday - 6:30am-12:30pm,

This position is responsible for packing, trailer loading, and material handling of aluminum parts, and participating in 5S initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•

Education:

+ High school diploma or equivalent degree

•

Experience:

+ 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred

•

Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Ability to recognize safety concerns + Knowledgeable in companywide computer systems and programs + Ability to utilize the proper inspection equipment per designated work area + A highly motivated self-starter

•

Strong written and verbal communication skills

•

Basic math skills

•

Ability to detect minor defects in the finish of the product

•

Ability to read die drawings and inspect parts according to customer specifications

•

Ability to properly use appropriate measuring tools

•

Knowledge of the age cycle and the effect it has on the material

•

Teamwork

•

Ability to take part in additional training e. Extrusion 101
