ESS JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Non-Ferrous Metal Recycling Worker
JOB PURPOSE
Provide solutions to our customers by assisting customers in unloading and loading, processing non-ferrous materials, and weighing material.
SKILLS
•
Proficiency in reading and writing, mathematics, and basic computer skills
•
Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours
•
Coachable and willing to learn
•
Ability to work as a team player
•
Communicate effectively with management and teammates
•
Comfortable working in proximity to heavy equipment
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Arrive at work on time
•
Sort, lift, and place metals in a bin or box
•
Operate a forklift or skid steer
•
Assist customers in unloading and loading
•
Process non-ferrous materials
•
Inspecting, identifying, and grading non-ferrous materials
•
Practice safe operating procedures, including wearing proper PPE
•
General warehouse maintenance and daily housekeeping
•
Non-ferrous scale operating
•
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
