Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Cass County Electric Cooperative is looking for a dynamic Meter & Apparatus Technician to join our talented team at our Fargo, ND headquarters. This full-time role offers a Monday – Friday work schedule, with a chance to make a real impact on the Cooperative's operations and service to our members.
What You'll Do:
As a Meter & Apparatus Technician, you'll play a crucial role in the heart of our operation. You'll assist with:
•
Installation, programming, testing, and maintenance of electrical apparatus, metering, and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) equipment.
•
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment, ensuring smooth operations and uninterrupted service.
•
Monitoring, analyzing, and investigating data to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact our members.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, candidates should bring:
•
An Associate's degree in electrical technology or a related field (related job experience may substitute for part of the educational requirements).
•
Previous electric utility experience is a plus!
•
Journeyman Electrician's license is preferred.
•
A commitment to outstanding customer service and strong communication skills (both oral and written).
•
Ability to apply electric utility terminology, specifications, and codes with precision.
