Ashcor Technologies Ltd. is a subsidiary of ATCO and the largest independent marketer of fly ash in Canada. Ashcor is adding to its dynamic team to support the company’s rapid expansion in the reclamation and beneficiation of coal combustion residuals from power generation, which provides significant environmental benefits. Join our dynamic team as a key contributor in coal ash exploration and mining operations, where you'll use your expertise in geological modeling, resource estimation, and exploration program management to drive quality control, optimize ash resource utilization, and mitigate operational risks, contributing significantly to the company's growth.

We need a Mine Planner to support our Operations and Business Development teams. You will report to the Senior Advisor, Business & Sustainable Development. Your role will involve providing technical direction to ensure efficient and sustainable ash extraction. You will also help with future business development by creating and executing ash resource qualification plans as we expand our business geographically in Canada, the United States, and beyond.

The position can be based anywhere in Alberta, but will require between 20% and 30% travel to various sites in Canada and the US. Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local and international project sites, for periods up to a week at a time is a necessity.
