X-energy is looking for professionals to join our Xe-100 System Design team in the role of Nuclear Fuel, Systems Engineer. This role is responsible for developing and executing rigorous, repeatable Industrial and Systems Engineering processes to support the design, integration, and management of complex systems throughout their lifecycles. This requires a blend of engineering principles, management practices, and a holistic approach to problem solving to ensure that all system components work together effectively and meet project requirements. The focus of this role includes the optimization of systems, processes, and our engineering organization by integrating people, technology, materials, information, and energy. The goal of this role is to improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of both our products and our engineering operations at X-energy.
+ Stakeholder and Operational analysis + Requirement identification, decomposition, and management + Functional decomposition and modeling + Logical system architecture development and modeling + Physical product definition, interface management, and change control + Design integration and testing + System verification and validation + Concept of operations development and modeling
+ A master’s degree in engineering or related field (may include a combination of experience obtained through an academic institution, e.g., design projects, research, or design teams, as well as professional experience) may be in lieu of two years of experience. + A Ph.D. in engineering or related field (may include a combination of experience obtained through an academic institution, e.g., design projects, research, or design teams, as well as professional experience) may be in lieu of three years of experience. + Previous experience at X-energy exceeding performance standards may be in lieu of years of experience.
Work Site Expectations : 5 days a week in office Travel: 10% Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri Compensation
