We’re seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead daily logistics, oversee warehouse/yard operations, and support our delivery routes when needed. This is a critical role with room to grow alongside the company.
Key Responsibilities
•
Oversee all daily operations including warehouse, cylinder yard, logistics, and deliveries
•
Manage, schedule, and support warehouse and delivery staff
•
Maintain inventory controls and coordinate with procurement
•
Ensure DOT, OSHA, and hazmat safety compliance at all times
•
Assist with routing and dispatching of deliveries
•
Occasionally fill in as a delivery driver as needed
•
Monitor equipment maintenance, cylinder handling procedures, and safety protocols
•
Collaborate with leadership to streamline operations and increase efficiency
Qualifications
•
2+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, or warehouse operations (experience in gas or hazmat supply a plus)
•
Strong leadership and team management skills
•
Valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred
•
Experience driving box trucks and/or delivery vehicles preferred
•
Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous materials handling
•
Ability to lift and maneuver 100lb cylinders and 55gal drums as needed
•
Proficient in inventory software, spreadsheets, and routing tools
•
Forklift certification a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
