O&M Integration & Implementation, Operations Planner

The Operations Planner will perform key tasks for various technical and operational activities and projects, within the Operations and Maintenance department, for the US onshore operating fleet of wind and solar sites. This role may also support the activities related to new assets integration, from construction to operations.

Various job duties will include tasks involved with ongoing corrective and preventative maintenance programs as well as project initiatives from Field Engineering and Fleet Improvement, Balance of Plant and Field Operations. This role will work closely with the various teams involved and will help to ensure that all deliverables are provided on-time, within scope and budget and that both internal resources and external vendors follow all procedures for efficient delivery of projects and expected results.

Under the responsibilities of the role, the Operations Planner should understand the risk implication of actions and be able to suggest agile decisions that could have a great positive or avoid a significant negative impact, for the department and the company.


Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

Coordinate internal resources as well as third parties for the efficient delivery of operational projects and/or programs.
Work with other team members, specifically the project scheduler, to develop a detailed plan to track project progress including detailed tasks and costs.
Be responsible for reporting, as well as management of SAP work orders for projects and preventative maintenance programs for self-maintained sites across the operating fleet.
Perform reporting of various projects and programs as needed or requested.
Support preparation and accurate submittal of documentation required to submit SAP/iBuy bid events by directly working with the vested parties including Plant Administrators, Plant Managers, Business Performance and Purchasing team members. Ensure all relevant internal controls are followed and recommend new controls as needed.
Perform and manage SAP purchasing tasks including purchase requisition creation, purchase order and invoice management, for O&M teams as needed or requested.
Support the coordination of the asset integration process, as needed or requested.
Create new and maintain existing Operations site pages on SharePoint DMS, as needed.
Ensure all relevant internal controls are followed and recommend new controls as needed.
Work with others to prepare annual fleet OpEx and CapEx budgets, as needed or requested.
Foster and participate in a productive team environment by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with both internal resources as well as third parties.


Qualifications


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business, Engineering or related field. Previous experience is a plus.
Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to function exceptionally in a team environment and interface with a broad range of departments, personalities and work groups.
Skill in understanding, motivating and / or influencing others to achieve program and project objectives.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with concurrent schedules.
Pro-active, detail-oriented, results-driven, and with organized work techniques.
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SAP.
