Overview:

The C&M Supervisor leads a team of eight hourly technicians in the execution of construction and maintenance activities at MPL facilities and on the right-of-way.  This position is based out of Marathon Pipe Line’s (MPL) Indianapolis, IN C&M Shop.  The primary responsibilities of the C&M Supervisor are to ensure that project work is completed safely, effectively, and efficiently and to guide the training and development of the technicians on the crew.  The Supervisor’s duties include scheduling and overseeing day-to-day personnel work activities, participating in project reviews, taking care of customer needs, ensuring regulatory and procedural compliance, protecting assets on the right-of-way, and leading the crew during emergency response.  C&M work is very diverse and includes excavation and repair of buried pipelines and fabrication of piping for Marathon facilities.  The position also requires the commitment to support various Marathon Pipe Line processes and encourage continuous improvement and managing risk for incident prevention.
