Overview
We are seeking an Industrial/Commercial Painter of all experience levels to join our team. This role involves applying paint and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial painting techniques, including airless paint spraying.
Responsibilities
•
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, blasting, and masking as necessary.
•
Apply paint using airless paint spraying equipment and other tools.
•
Utilize hand tools and power tools for various tasks related to painting and assembly.
•
Conduct precision measurements to ensure accurate application of coatings.
•
Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the painting process.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
•
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring quality standards are met.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience in industrial painting or a related field is preferred.
•
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
•
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to painting tasks.
•
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
•
Experience with materials handling, ensuring safe transport of items within the workspace.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
