Job Summary
C.H. Bradshaw Company has been providing quality parts and equipment as a distributor for petroleum handling equipment since 1953 and family owned since 1989.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting parts and materials to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
•
Safely operate delivery vehicles, including a company van, to transport parts to customer locations.
•
Load and unload parts using a pallet jack and manual handling techniques.
•
Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies.
•
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
•
Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery sites.
•
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
Skills
•
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
•
proficiency in manual transmission vehicles being a plus.
•
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
•
Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential.
•
Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous.
•
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while adhering to schedules.
