Pipe Yard Attendant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various tasks related to materials handling, warehouse operations, and equipment maintenance.

*This Job requires applicants to be able to work in climates anywhere from 30 degrees to 100+ degrees outside. If you are not able to withstand working in these conditions please do not apply!

Applicants MUST LIVE WITHIN 50 MILES OF WORK AREA of JOURDANTON TEXAS, OR YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment for material handling

- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas

-Counting Pipe, Inventory of pipe

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues

- Manage warehouse inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)

- Assist Warehouse Supervisor in daily operations

- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations for safety protocols

- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed

Requirements

-Inventory Control Experience Required

-Experience using TDS Inventory System

- Experience in warehouse operations is preferred

- Proficiency in using forklifts and other heavy equipment

- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
