Purpose

Pit Utility personnel will manage and conduct pit dewatering activities in the open pit, plan and execute shovel moves, assist with drill and blast activities. When required, they will operate small equipment such as excavators, articulated rock trucks, loaders and water trucks. The Pit Utility position is essential for supporting various operations, including maintenance and ensuring the overall efficiency of the mining site.

The Red Chris Mine Operations team is recruiting for a Pit Utility team member, with a competitive hourly rate of $47.13, additional overtime opportunities, benefits package, RRSP program and a Travel Allowance to get to and from the worksite

We are seeking an individual for a Fly-In, Fly-Out opportunity working on a two-weeks-in, two-weeks-out rotation.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$47.13/hour . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
