JOB SUMMARY

The Planner II in the Engineering and Construction Group / Development Department is responsible for assisting with the development, communication, and maintenance of SAWS programs, projects and services related to infrastructure planning, land use planning, water quality protection, water conservation, production and treatment operations, and water supply development. This position provides intermediate level administrative, analytical, and technical skills necessary for meeting comprehensive short and long range planning efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DECISION MAKING* This position receives general supervision.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS* Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field from an institution accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS* Bilingual in English/Spanish.

Working conditions are in an office environment with occasional field visits.
