Camnetics Manufacturing, established in 1991, is a long-standing company in the military aviation marketplace, and specializes in complex contoured structural components. We are seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead our Aerospace Manufacturing Facility. This role will direct Manufacturing Leads,drive accountability to the schedule, and collaborate cross-functionally (with programming, purchasing, quality, and shipping) to resolve daily issues and meet production and delivery targets.
· Ensure on-time execution of daily and weekly production and shipping schedules - including coordination with external suppliers - to meet customer delivery commitments, revenue and margin targets, and budget constraints.
· Communicate with direct reports to ensure all goals, expectations and performance plans are well understood.
· Develop, coordinate, implement, monitor and update long-range plans.
· Drive a high-performance culture through staff management and development and continuous improvement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), including managing on-the-job training and cross-training of manufacturing staff.
· Manage team members comprising Team Leads, Setup machinists and CNC Operators, Sheet Metal, Programmers, Office Personnel, Quality Personnel, and Shipping and Receiving.
· Excellent problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
· Work across all departments to understand critical milestones, improve lead times, reduce downtime, and meet schedule needs.
· Drive and implement standard work procedures to improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
· Manage resource allocation, including labor, materials and equipment, to maximize efficiency.
· Must be able to read and interpret aerospace blueprints.
· Ensure compliance with all Safety, Quality and Environmental standards and regulations.
· Experience with 3,4, and 5 Axis machining centers.
· Previous experience in an executive level leadership role.
· Proven track record in record in in Managing an Aerospace machining facility.
· BS Degree in Business, Engineering, or other related field requirement.

This opening is long term and annual salary is negotiable depending on experience and ability, with a salary range of $160,000 to $180,000 with incentive pay based on meeting company goals. This opening includes vacation, holiday pay, health insurance, dental insurance and Simple IRA. Relocation cost is negotiable.
