Responsibilities:
•
Own electrical hardware design for a significant part of a grid tied inverter
•
Schematic, PCB Layout, PCB and PCBA release
•
Manufacturing ramp
•
Root cause analysis
•
Supplier visits for quality control
Required Skills / Qualifications:
•
2+ years expertise designing grid tied or similar power converters - any aspect (LV, DC/DC, MPPT, DC/AC, filter, GFCI, magnetics…)
•
Extremely strong electrical engineering fundamentals
•
Strong fundamentals of electrical layout and magnetic design
•
Strong fundamentals of EMC design
•
Strong working knowledge of UL 1741, IEEE 1547 a huge plus
•
Four year college degree in Engineering, math, physics, or similar
