This is a hybrid role with the first three months in the office.
Westwood, MA office. In this role you will develop, manage, and support the onboarding, learning, development, and company assimilation in support of meeting the Transmission department’s development and retention goals. This includes developing and managing the experience of new talent recruiting into the Transmission Development Program, which supports meeting the business unit’s early-in-career talent pipeline development. Program management responsibilities include: partnering with key stakeholders to define interviewing and hiring strategy; preparing and supporting managers to facilitate meaningful learning experiences for all employees; all scheduling and activities involved with managing and maintaining the training program calendar; identifying and executing on strategy to support the development and updating of business-specific training content; conducting all program informational and engagement events; administering assessment surveys and providing business stakeholders with feedback and next steps to continually enhance program experience.
* Aligns program structure to meet business needs and staffing plan.
* Partners with Talent Acquisition to coordinate recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of program participants.
* Collaborates with stakeholders on delivery of all program components.
* Communicates relevant program information to all audiences (participant, manager, organization).
* Plans and facilitates all program events and engagements.
* Responsible for data collection and analysis on program components and employee performance.
* Provides program progress, updates, and trends to business leadership.
* Requires knowledge of utility transmission system and business units’ functions.
* Requires knowledge of 70/20/10 learning theory, adult learning principles, Instructional Design and L&D best practices.
* Excellent communication skills, ability to present theory and concepts, as well as hands-on technical instruction with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm.
* Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel).
* Bachelor’s degree with major in Education preferred
* Minimum of five (5) years of related experience, with at least (2) years of experience managing teams and projects.
* Experience in engineering, scheduling, construction, or project management is preferred.
