Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including Quality Control, Cybersecurity, Compliance, and IT—to identify and implement automation opportunities that support regulatory frameworks such as SSAE-18 SOC1 and NERC CIP.
Ensuring audit readiness by building solutions that are secure, traceable, and well-documented, helping SPP meet strict compliance requirements.
Utilizing Docker and version control systems to deploy and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure applications in a development environment aligned with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Participating in code reviews and contributing to the team’s technical best practices, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and compliant code.
Troubleshooting and supporting internal QC systems, with a focus on continuous improvement, risk reduction, and system reliability.
Creating and maintaining technical documentation that supports both internal development needs and external audit or regulatory inquiries.

This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about secure development in a highly regulated environment, eager to learn new technologies, and excited to contribute to the critical infrastructure that powers millions. Apply Here to join the Quality Control team at Southwest Power Pool.
