Project Controls Lead

Position Description: JOB SUMMARYThis position coordinates project controls and activities, planning and scheduling, cost estimating and monitoring, and quality review for projects. The Workgroup Lead organizes, implements, and monitors all aspects of established safety and security policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate risk. Defines project controls objectives, including performance, cost, and schedule objectives. Develops, tracks, and maintains project schedule(s), and schedules performance on active projects. This position works with the project leader to develop budgets for all projects, monitors progress and reports to Anvil and external stakeholders on the progress and forecast of the project. The Workgroup Lead spearheads change management to quantify scope changes and performance impacts.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES* Assists Project Controls Supervisor to manage the work of project controls personnel, such as specialists, coordinators, engineers, and schedulers.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES* A thorough knowledge of earned value management methodology

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE* Bachelors in Engineering or Construction Management, preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* Able to sit/stand, type, and perform computer work for long periods of time.
