Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

Dakota Granite is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support project planning, scheduling, and execution. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks, coordinate with internal and external teams, and ensure projects are being completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Organize and maintain project records, including plans, schedules, and reports

- Utilize Epicor to schedule jobs, manage workflows, and maintain system structures as needed

- Submit and track material orders, coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance

- Oversee machine installations, special projects, and conventions, ensuring smooth execution and proper resource allocation

- Secure necessary permits and maintain regulatory documentation

- Schedule and communicate project timelines and updates with internal teams, leadership, and customers

- Coordinate third-party services, including crane scheduling, to align with job needs and project milestone

- Assist with job reconciliation and cost tracking

- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement timely resolutions to keep projects on track

- Ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards

- Work independently as well as within a team to coordinate projects, schedules, materials, and other administrative functions

Qualifications

- Previous experience in project coordination, scheduling, or logistics (preferably in manufacturing, construction, or a related industry)

- Ability to read and interpret project specifications, plans, and documentation

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills

- Strong written and verbal communication

- Proficiency in project management software and tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
