POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Qcells is looking for a Project Development Analyst to support and assist with the development of community, small utility and C&I solar and energy storage projects across United States. The Project Development Analyst is expected to participate in validation, assessment, and valuation of projects. The analyst will have a great opportunity to learn about and explore the fast-growing renewable energy and energy storage markets. Main office for analyst team is in San Francisco, but there are also offices in Irvine, CA and Teaneck, NJ. There are no expectations for travel for this position. This role puts you at the center of all the action with coordination and collaboration with all of the department’s internal groups, working closely with project origination, engineering, product, grid services, and finance teams. Your responsibilities will include:

RESPONSIBILITIES* Supporting the project development process from project conception to completion, including documenting overall project advancement status and milestones.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS* Master’s degree, ideally in engineering, energy, environmental or sustainability field, or similar level of energy-specific experience.

The Distributed Energy (DE) team develops, invests in, and delivers distribution-connected solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in North America. The DE team offers the full spectrum of BESS and PV+BESS solutions – from integrated ESS hardware and software, project development and investment to asset management and operations.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
