Sibelco is a leading producer of high-purity recycled glass (cullet) in North America and Europe. Our products enable glass manufacturers to produce more sustainable glass packaging, using less primary raw materials and less energy, which means lower CO2 emissions. Due to strong long-term demand growth for our products, we are investing in growing our North American glass recycling business and our world-class team.

As a

Project Director – North American Glass Recycling

you will join our Capital Projects function and lead the delivery of projects from concept to commissioning.

Responsibilities

•

Lead a team of project professionals to deliver major capital projects, from concept to pre-feasibility, feasibility, execution and commissioning, safely, on time, on budget and in line with specifications.

•

Deliver projects in a disciplined manner, through detailed planning, transparent reporting, regular project reviews, and problem-solving to stay on plan.

•

Provide safety leadership through setting the safety culture and expectations, implementing leading and lagging indicator safety programs, project and contractor team meetings, and time in the field.

•

Build a strong team and an engaging work environment.

•

Work with Operations and other functional teams to develop multiyear capital programs and plans in support of Sibelco’s growth and business plans.

•

Contribute to improving Sibelco’s project standards and processes.

Qualifications

•

Degree in Engineering, Business, or Management

•

At least 15 years prior experience in Capital Projects or Engineering, including 5 or more years managing a major project (>$250M) or a portfolio of projects of various size and complexity levels.

•

International experience be an asset.
