What We Expect… (Essential Functions)

•

Assist project supervisor in procurement of construction materials.

•

Assist project supervisor with monitoring deliveries and executing receiving reports.

•

Performs on-site material audits as required. Ensure quantities in place are accurate and reported weekly.

•

Assist in daily ProCore field reports, quality logs, safety audits, field team meetings and on-site coordination meetings with project teams.

•

Assist supervisor in scheduling construction activities, such as monitoring material deliveries and field work performance. Consolidate activities on reports as requested by the Site Manager.

•

Assist the supervisor in establishing and maintaining high safety and QA/QC standards. Work with supervisor in establishing safety meeting agenda.

•

Know and enforce the safety program.

•

Review and coordinate shop drawings and submittals.

•

Assist in reviewing design drawings and 3D BIM models for completeness and accuracy, coordinate resolution conflicts with customers, design teams, detailers, and other trades.

•

Assist with project sequencing and setup, including advance bills, shop drawings, and erection plans.

•

Assist in Guiding steel detailers in modeling and drawing creation to meet project specs and standards.

•

Assist in coordination of deliveries and notifying project team of deliveries ahead of time.

•

Track and monitor submittal schedules and fabrication release timelines, flag delays and issues.

•

Assist in managing the RFI process—formal submissions to clients and informal resolution with internal teams.

•

Route drawings and documentation efficiently in collaboration with Document Control.

•

Act as a liaison among field crews, fabrication shops, detailers, and subcontractors to resolve issues.

•

Support the Project Manager and serve as a communication bridge across internal and external stakeholders.

•

Coordinate detailing efforts among subcontractors to ensure alignment and sequencing.

•

Review and understand specifications for the project.

•

Keep a current set of red line as-built drawings as directed by the superintendent. Correlate and update construction documents as they are reviewed.

•

Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of NexGen’s safety program on site.

•

Assist in production tracking though systems utilized in CMiC, Procore and other internal systems. Assist with coding craft hours and reporting production on daily basis.

•

Assist in scheduling special inspections, Field verify dimension and reporting back to management.

•

Other duties may be assigned.

Specific vision abilities include accurate near and distant vision.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The team member is occasionally exposed to high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. The noise level is generally moderate to loud. Overtime may be required. Some travel may be required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Indirectly supervises the activities of subcontractors and field personnel .
