Project Geotechnical Engineer/Geologist (Vancouver, WA or Beaverton, OR)

Columbia West Engineering, Inc., a Vancouver-based geotechnical and environmental engineering firm, is seeking experienced project engineers. The successful candidate will possess 7 or more years of professional experience in a geotechnical services firm. Ideally, a candidate has local design experience with deep foundations, seismic mitigation, shoring, retaining walls, dewatering, settlement, and slope stability analysis. A Bachelor’s Degree in civil/geotechnical engineering is required (master's degree preferred). Registration as a Professional Engineer/Geologist in the state of Washington or Oregon is required. The ideal candidate will be an organized, efficient, punctual and motivated team member with excellent communication skills and multi-tasking ability.

Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but may not be limited to:
