Propane Delivery Driver

Eagle Propane & Fuel, LP is in search of a Truck Driver with a Class A CDL drivers license with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements to deliver propane to customer locations. We offer competitive wages and benefit packages. Drivers will also be home every night. Salary will be determined D.O.E.

Days worked are typically Monday-Friday unless there are deliveries to be made over the weekend.

Starting salary will be based on work experience.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including roll off trucks, tractor-trailers, and tankers

- Drive assigned routes and ensure timely delivery of goods

- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as needed

- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle

- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure its safety and reliability

Qualifications:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements

- Proven experience driving various types of trucks, including roll off trucks, tractor-trailers, and tankers

- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles

- Ability to safely operate a forklift for loading and unloading purposes

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately

- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading

- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are REQUIRED.

-Railroad Commission certification is Preferred.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

- Experience as a delivery driver in a similar industry

- Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
