Position Title: Service Technician

Position Summary: C&B Equipment is a growing company in the fluid pumping, water, wastewater, and industrial treatment business. The service technician will provide field service, maintenance, and repair work. These duties will be performed in various locations at customers’ facilities and in our shop. The service technician must be able to work alone or with others to service and maintain various types of rotating equipment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities that are expected of a competent Service Technician include but are not limited to:

1. Work on clean water, wastewater, and Industrial applications

2. Receive, disassemble, inspect, prep, paint, repair, and package pump units (on-the- job training)

3. Load/unload equipment safely

4. Check and align equipment (on-the-job training)

5. Replace seals and packing in pumps

6. Replace bearings in pumps, motors, and other rotating equipment

7. Perform general maintenance and repairs on rotating equipment (on-the-job training)

8. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on rotating equipment (on-the- job training)

9. Field service work and shop work

10. Overtime and after hours will be required

11. Ability to work indoor/outdoor (year-round)

12. Ability to lift 75 pounds

13. Other duties as assigned
