Purpose
This entry-level position is responsible for conducting routine Quality Assurance (QA) testing and inspections to determine specification compliance of asphalt concrete, aggregate and or aggregate based products. This position can be responsible for either rock plant or geology materials technician duties. This position qualifies for a monthly truck allowance.

Education:
Must obtain Caltrans JTCP Certification Agg I, HMA I or ACI Aggregate Testing Technician Level I within six months of employment. Certification requirement will depend on assigned location.

BASE SALARY RANGE:
$21.00 - $29.00
