We are NAECO and we are a global supplier and manufacturer of precision metal parts and electrical contact materials for industries including aerospace and DOD, railroad, medical, industrial controls, power distribution, etc. We are looking to hire a Quality Engineer to work in Peachtree City to do the following:
· Manage and conduct external (and internal) audits to ensure the company maintains the current AS9100D, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and NADCAP standards
· Manage supplier audits with the support of NAECO staff
· Drive change through the organization, taking the lead to ensure change happens. Identify possible risks and initiate appropriate actions to alleviate risk
· Formulates and maintains quality control objectives complementary to corporate policies, goals, and customer specifications
· Investigates customer complaints regarding quality and make appropriate adjustments
· Works with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts for company use
· Directs and manages workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials and products
· Designs and implements quality control training programs in conjunction with managers
· Management of cost of non-conformance measurement in conjunction with production and engineering
· Issue and address internal and external corrective actions in a timely manner
· Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department
· Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers
· Support internal inspections as needed (in process and final inspection) for products throughout production cycle; Will use calipers, optical comparator, thread gages, and other inspection equipment to inspect machined parts
· Other duties as assigned that contribute to the success of NAECO
· 5 years of experience in a related field in manufacturing
· In depth knowledge of AS9001D, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, NADCAP and other quality systems
· Demonstrated experience with advanced problem solving, team building, planning and decision-making skills, process improvement and project management
· Ability to read and comprehend complex drawings
· Proficient knowledge of MS Word and Excel; ERP/MRP experience preferred
· Six Sigma Green Belt/Lean manufacturing expertise preferred

The schedule for this position falls on a 9/80 work schedule where 80 hours are worked in 9 workweek days (instead of 10 days) in a 2 week period. The hours are 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday, (1 hour lunch), and every other Friday from 7:30am - 4:30pm (1 hour lunch), and off every other Friday. The lunch time can be reduced to 30 minutes and leave 30 minutes earlier.
