Skyway Precision is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role you will oversee quality assurance processes, implement quality control measures and lead a team to achieve excellence. The Quality Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager with the daily operations involved with supporting the PPAP, Statistical Control, product inspection and layered process auditing associated with the operations of Skyway Precision Inc. for all plants.

Responsibilities:

•

Conduct and document required first piece, in process, and final inspection verifications per the control plan.

•

Conduct dimensional verification of product and document as required for PPAP submissions.

•

Communicate with manufacturing results of first piece, in process or final inspections regarding product status or deficiencies.

•

Communicate with manufacturing team.

•

Assist in the maintenance of the IATF 16949/ISO 14001 QMS and all related Customer Quality requirements.

•

Perform Layered Process Audits as scheduled by the Quality Systems Manager.

•

Perform Special Assignments as delegated.

•

Provide supervision, guidance, support and training to quality personnel.

•

Assist in collection of timely review of variable data as it relates to special process characteristics.

Experience Required:

•

Proficient in Blueprint reading.

•

Proficient in GD&T.

•

Proficient in using and taking care of variable and attribute gaging including but not limited to:

+ Micrometers + Indicators + Calipers + Height Stands + Bore Gages

•

Visual Inspection

•

Basic MS Excel

•

Basic MS Word

•

Record Keeping

•

PPAP

•

SPC

•

CMM

•

CMM Programming (PCDMIS/MCOSMOS)

•

Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Quality Field

•

Minimum of 10 years' experience in CNC Machining
