We are seeking a Senior Quality Technician to support our Quality Engineering team. This role requires expertise in data measurement systems such as SmartScopes and Keyence Vision Systems, as well as the ability to create and train others on inspection programs and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
Measurement Systems & Programming:
•
Interpret part prints and specifications to write inspection programs for SmartScopes or Keyence Vision Systems. These programs will be measuring miniature plastic injection molded parts/components.
•
Design and develop holding fixtures for Measurement System Analysis (GR&R studies) and execute studies.
Quality Compliance & Training:
•
Author and train operators on inspection work instructions and workmanship standards to ensure adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS).
•
Perform measurements for First Article Inspection Reports and execute Guage R&R studies to measure OQ/PQ
Calibration & Equipment Maintenance:
•
Maintain calibration schedules for measurement equipment (e.g., OGP SmartScopes, hand tools).
•
Coordinate with Supply Chain and third-party vendors for software updates, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
Production Support:
•
Assist in production inspections and provide quality assurance as needed.
Experience needed to be successful in the position:
•
Proven experience with OGP SmartScopes.
•
Understands how to read a component part print and translate into a measurement program.
•
Has previously written and successfully executed programs for SmartScope
•
Hands-on experience with Measurement System Analysis (GR&R studies) and quality inspection processes.
•
Familiarity with First Article Inspection Reports and validation processes (DOE/OQ/PQ)
•
Strong understanding of ISO 13485
•
Knowledgeable in GD&T
•
Strong communicator
•
Enjoys working with others and helping with additional tasks as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
