What You Can Expect

As a Real-Time Optimization II, you will be part of a collaborative team responsible for executing real-time dispatch strategies and supporting the 24/7 monitoring and management of a portfolio of ENGIE and third-party-owned generation assets. This role involves the real-time purchase and sale of energy, fulfillment of ancillary service obligations, and continuous optimization for financial performance across the ERCOT and CAISO markets. This position is based in Houston, TX, and reports to the Real-Time Optimization Manage

Serve as the primary point of contact with plant control room operators and maintain accurate logs documenting unit availability, dispatch levels, market prices, and other critical operational data

What You’ll Bring

You have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word

Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Salary Range: $86,100 – $132,020 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
