KPI Concepts, LLC is currently seeking a qualified sales representative with experience in the commercial cabinetry industry. This individual shall possess the sales know-how to maximize territory profitability, strategically position cabinet sales products with targeted accounts, and increase opportunities by building relationships through customer channels and all market segments.
Job Duties
•Manage sales activities in the respective sales territory (IA and surrounding Midwest territory).
•Interact with new customers to generate additional business.
•Provide high-level customer service in answering and following up on customer inquiries.
•Communicate and collaborate regularly with sales and operations teams to ensure deadlines and customer expectations.
•Work with architects and general contractors driving the basis of design architectural experience.
•Prepare quotes, bids, and proposals based on customer specifications and company pricing models.
•Deliver input on industry and market trends, and competitor offerings.
•Communicate demand forecast and trends regularly to support inventory planning.
•Perform site visits and documenting issues to help resolve field problems.
•Deliver product knowledge training classes to distributor and contractor customers.
•Attend industry-specific trade shows.
•Use CRM program to manage territory activities and results.
•Achieve or exceed individual and team sales goals.
•Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
•Proven work experience in sales and account management, specifically cabinetry/countertop industry required.
•Demonstrated experience moving prospects through proposal, evaluation, negotiation, and closing stages.
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with any level in an organization.
•Ability to self-motivate, multi-task, work independently and as part of a team.
•Unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and commitment by conducting business with integrity and high ethical standards.
•Desire to be a successful contributing part of a well-established growth company.
•Advanced computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
•A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel 50% of the time required.
•This is position does not involve residential kitchen cabinetry; Market experience that will be favored for this position include hospitality, convenience stores, health/leisure, grocery/restaurant, college campus, etc.
The territory for this role is Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Expected travel is up to 50%.
