Reliability Compliance Manager

POSITION PURPOSE

Provide Madison Gas and Electric Company (MGE) with the technical expertise and project management skills necessary to monitor and coordinate all aspects of North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) compliance with specific emphasis on NERC and Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO) compliance activities. The position will be a primary advocate for the Company's compliance. The position will be responsible for developing, managing, and implementing procedures and initiatives to ensure that MGE remains compliant with NERC Reliability Standards and, therefore, minimizes financial exposure to MGE that could result from noncompliance and impact customer reliability.

NERC Reliability Standards define the reliability requirements for Planning, Operations, and Cybersecurity protections to the North American bulk power system. Reliability compliance includes compliance with standards and operating policies from NERC, Federal Energy Reliability Commission (FERC), MRO, Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), and other regulatory agencies, including applicable Transmission Operators (TOPs).
