Reporting to the Coordinator planning - energy production, you will have the opportunity to plan and schedule the works for the surface electrical sector. Your primary duties will be:
Plan and schedule electrical surface and underground maintenance work at the mine site, including the electrical infrastructure at the Deception Bay port and Donaldson airport.
Participate in the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the preventive maintenance program for the mine's electrical installations.
Collaborate with various departments for the approval of the work requests as well as for the maintenance and improvement of the production equipment.
Collaborate with the supervisors in the search and implementation of better working methods, to increase the reliability of the equipment, while prioritizing the health and security of the responders by adopting a proactive approach in this matter.
College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology - Automation and Control, Industrial Electronics Technology, or any other field deemed equivalent.
Have experience in electrical distribution, instrumentation, programmable logic controllers (Modicon-Schneider), variable frequency drives, power generators and electric motors.
Demonstrate good organizational skills, attention to detail and work planning.
