Rapid Response Team (RRT) is one of the state’s largest and most respected restoration companies. We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Restoration Technician to perform water damage mitigation, mold remediation, and emergency response services. Responsibilities:

•

Perform emergency services: water extraction, tarp/board-ups, and mold remediation

•

Set up and monitor drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.)

•

Implement drying plans; calculate GPP and document moisture levels

•

Follow IICRC S500/S520 and IEP protocols for mold abatement

•

Conduct demolition and prep for reconstruction

•

Use job tracking software (Encircle or similar) for accurate documentation

•

Communicate with homeowners, adjusters, and estimators

•

Maintain clean and safe job sites; monitor equipment and inventory

•

Respond to after-hours emergencies as part of rotating on-call schedule

Requirements:

•

1 + years of experience in water, mold, or fire restoration

•

IICRC WRT & AMRT certifications preferred (or willing to obtain)

•

Mold remediation experience required

•

Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record

•

Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions

•

Strong communication, organization, and tech skills (tablets, Excel, job apps)

•

High school diploma or equivalent

•

Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and PPE use

•

Willingness to travel, including for CAT events

•

Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to the restoration field.
