Bring Your Expertise. Blaze New Trails. Power the Future.

At Halo Land Management

, we aren’t just supporting energy infrastructure—we’re

leading the charge

across the U.S. As one of the fastest-growing land services firms in the country, we’re known for delivering complex projects with unmatched speed, accuracy, and professionalism.

With more than

2.7 million acres managed

,

$2.5 billion in due diligence completed

, and

15,000+ successful agreements executed

, our track record speaks for itself.

We’re seeking driven, field-ready

Right-of-Way Agents

who thrive on solving complex land challenges, working independently, and earning the trust of landowners. Whether you’re navigating difficult negotiations or pulling title to clarify ownership, you’re the kind of professional who brings confidence, detail, and results to the table.

If you’re passionate about energy, land rights, and being part of something bigger—we want to hear from you.

🧭 What You'll Do

As a Halo Right-of-Way Agent, your work will directly impact the successful development of energy infrastructure across multiple states. You’ll operate autonomously in the field while having the support of a project team that respects your experience and values your contributions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting in-depth research

on property ownership, easements, and encumbrances using courthouse records, GIS, and client data

Preparing comprehensive document packets

that clearly track ownership, acreage, and signature requirements for each easement or agreement

Meeting with landowners

to walk through project details, address concerns, and negotiate fair and respectful agreements

Finalizing documentation

while ensuring compliance with state-specific and client-mandated requirements

Advising clients and internal teams

on landowner communication, ownership gaps, or title challenges that may delay project milestones

Maintaining detailed records and status updates

using project tracking systems, ensuring transparency and consistency across all documentation

Collaborating with project coordinators, title teams, and leadership
to flag risks, close gaps, and drive deals to completion—without missing a beat

🧠 What You Bring

We’re looking for seasoned professionals who know what it takes to get the job done right—people who are skilled in landowner interaction, confident in courthouse research, and unphased by tough timelines or fieldwork logistics.

Here’s what makes a strong fit:

3+ years of Right-of-Way experience

, including surface acquisition, public utility negotiation, or landowner outreach in the oil & gas or energy sector

Advanced understanding of real estate, property rights, and easement documentation
Experience working independently in remote or rural field environments
Proven ability to communicate complex legal and technical terms in clear, accessible language to landowners and stakeholders
Strong command of tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive; comfort with digital tracking systems
Reputation for follow-through, documentation accuracy, and professional accountability

📆 A Day in the Life

You start your day reviewing assignments, maps, and title pulls for your target area. After prepping document packets and confirming appointments, you hit the road—maybe a remote property in rural Ohio or a long-standing landowner in West Virginia. You spend time walking through the easement, answering questions, and ensuring the landowner feels respected and informed.

Back in the truck, you sync with your project coordinator, enter updates into your tracker, and flag any issues needing escalation. Whether you're resolving a tricky title discrepancy, identifying access constraints, or celebrating another completed signature—you’re out front, making deals happen and keeping the project moving.

⭐ Why Work With Halo?

At Halo, we don’t micromanage—we empower. You’ll join a respected network of professionals who are trusted to deliver in the field and supported with the tools and communication they need to succeed.

Competitive day rates for 1099 professionals, with select W2 opportunities available
High-quality projects and clients across multiple states with long-term potential
A team that understands the pace, pressure, and precision required in land services
Leadership that values responsiveness, grit, and getting the job done right

You bring the know-how—we bring the opportunity. Together, we build the future of energy.
