We are looking for a skilled Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team in Indianapolis, IN

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to prepare accurate and detailed estimates for commercial roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the roofing industry, with an in-depth understanding of various roofing systems, materials, and installation methods. The Estimator will work closely with our project management and sales teams to ensure projects are estimated accurately and delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

•

Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing systems, materials, and labor.

•

Analyze blueprints, project scopes, and other documentation to determine project requirements.

•

Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather pricing and information for estimates.

•

Provide detailed proposals and presentations to clients, ensuring all relevant costs are covered.

•

Work with the project management team to ensure estimates align with project timelines and budgets.

•

Monitor project performance and adjust estimates as necessary to reflect changes in scope or materials.

•

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, material costs, and roofing systems.

•

Assist with the preparation of change orders and value engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

•

5+ years of experience as a roofing estimator, preferably in the commercial roofing industry.

•

Strong knowledge of roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, etc.), materials, and installation methods.

•

Proficient in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, AccuLynx, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.

•

Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

•

Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

•

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

•

Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to roofing.
