Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, training, and overseeing safety programs that ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to educate staff on safety protocols, compliance regulations, and best practices. The Safety Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
•Develop and implement comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels.
•Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
•Collaborate with various departments to promote safety awareness and best practices.
•Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
•Deliver training sessions on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and equipment usage.
•Manage talent development initiatives related to safety training and compliance.
•Utilize technical writing skills to create clear and concise instructional materials.
•Assist in curriculum development for ongoing employee education in safety practices.
•Maintain systems related to employee training records and compliance tracking.
•Support recruiting efforts by assessing candidates' understanding of safety standards during the hiring process.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in a safety management role or similar position.
•Strong background in training delivery, instructional design, and curriculum development.
•Excellent human resources management skills with an emphasis on talent management.
•Proficient in technical writing with the ability to create effective training materials.
•Familiarity with HRIS systems for managing employee training records is preferred.
•Ability to educate employees on complex safety regulations in an understandable manner.
•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
•Relevant certifications in occupational health and safety are a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
