Job Summary
Viacore Prince George, BC is looking for is looking for a dynamic self-starter to join our Inside Sales team. We're looking for someone with a good understanding of our business, who is computer literate and have knowledge of, or willing to learn, our internal ERP system and invoicing process.
Main Responsibilities:
•Take orders via telephone, fax, e-mail and walk-in customers; maintain excellent customer relations.
•Communicate with customers and other branch employees to ensure order accuracy and smooth operations.
•Invoicing - ensure all proper paperwork is completed, inventory adjustments are complete, costing and pricing is accurate.
•Produce work orders and slitting permits for jobs, coordinate slitting jobs with Slitter, Shipper / Receiver or Shop Foreman / Service Manager
•Assist Outside Sales with quotations and sourcing products.
Required Qualifications
•Basic mechanical aptitude required.
Skills & Abilities:
•Must have strong working knowledge of computers - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet
•General computer knowledge in relation to sales, financial, invoicing, etc.
•Competent in inventory management
•Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
•Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
•Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
•Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to high standards of work
