As a Scaffolding Foreman, you will supervise multiple crews that will Construct, re-enforce, and dismantle pre-constructed Scaffolds for all phases of new construction.
Key Responsibilities:
•Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
•Identify all tools required for tasks.
•Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
•Construct, re-enforce, and dismantle pre-constructed Scaffolds.
•Work on miscellaneous construction projects such as but not limited to building decks and steps, building bulletin boards, and building any additional wooden structures.
•Must be able and willing to follow all safety rules and regulations.
•Must have all the required tools.
•Clean up/housekeeping of work areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
•10+ years of Scaffold background including but not limited to management, logistics and procurement, job estimating, budgeting, and detailed scaffold design. Experience with the PERI UP system is preferred.
•5+ years of supervision experience leading a technical team and/or managing and leading a large project.
•Prior lead or work leadership experience
•Familiarity with AMECO product offerings (construction tools and consumables) is preferred.
•Knowledge of inventory control
•Able to drive and safely operate a forklift, stock picker and electronic pallet jack per 29 CFR 1910.178
•Experience using bar code readers, computer terminals (computer literate) and/or other electronic devices.
•Solid mathematical abilities/aptitude
•Capable of working at a fast pace, with excellent time management skills
•Self-motivated, self-reliant, able to work with little direction.
•Reliable/dependable (prompt, with good attendance)
•Capable of multi-tasking and able to change direction or focus as priorities dictate.
•Good communication/interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to respond to inquiries at all levels.
•Excellent time management skills/abilities, while being results-oriented with a strong attention to detail/follow-up.
•Must always display a professional demeanor, while maintaining creditability and trustworthiness amongst both internal/external customers.
•Flexible work schedule, available for on-call/after-hours duties as needed.

•Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements.
•Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
•Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots.
Travel Requirements:Availability as requested/required for after-hour emergency calls, necessary overtime as the workload dictates.
